The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, we get asked all kinds of questions. So here we have compiled a list of 12 of the most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with Trillium and Fir!

Do you share my images?

Our priority is making sure every client is comfortable, especially with boudoir! It can be a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wracking! Perhaps you are just learning to love and celebrate your body and aren’t quite ready to share the images with anyone, or perhaps these photos are specifically for your partner and are for their eyes only. These are all great reasons to not sharing your photos. Simply put, it all depends on your personal preferences! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!

Do I have to wear lingerie?

You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it depends on your personality and personal style. We want your images to look like you and celebrate your uniqueness. There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things! We love a creative babe!

How much does boudoir cost?

Short answer; it depends! All sessions include a session fee of $499, but you may then choose the collection that fits your desired budget. The session fee is due at time of booking.

Prints and products are separate. Clients can expect to spend anywhere from $1000-$5000. We do offer payment plans, read about them below!

Do you have payment plans?

We do offer payment plans! We also offer payments through Affirm for you convenience which allows you to come in for your session right away!

You may schedule your session up to 6 months in advance and make monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payments. Full payment is required no less than two weeks before your session date.

Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup is included in all full boudoir sessions (mini sessions excluded)!

We believe it is important for you to feel pampered and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or Full on glam! Our amazing hair and makeup artist can create any vision you may have for your look!

Do you Photoshop my images?

We edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance. We do NOT edit anything “out” that is permanent! We believe it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done and then edit out things that make you who you are!

We are celebrating and enhancing your real and natural beauty. If there are parts of yourself that are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! Let us know and we will work with you. Kyonnah is skilled in posing and lighting in ways that will make you look your absolute best and brings out your shine!

How many outfits should I bring?

This depends on what you want to wear and your vision for your session. We provide a full size-inclusive client closet, but you are welcome to bring your own outfits as well! The number of outfit changes during you session will depend on your selected collection, but most clients change into two to four different looks.

Where should I buy outfits?

There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a long list to choose from with different style and sizing!
